Placing an Order
By ordering any of our products you will have been deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Once you have placed an order, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from us acknowledging receipt of your order. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. A contract between you and us will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched.

Cancelling an Order and Returns
You can “remove” a product at any time from your shopping cart prior to completing the checkout process.
You may normally cancel your order for any reason up to the point of dispatch. If you do cancel the order within this time any payments made by you will be refunded to the debit/credit card used to make the purchase. If you wish to cancel your order before the goods have been delivered you must tell us as soon as possible by email hello@darkpeakbooks.co.uk providing the following details: your full contact details, details of the product(s), reason for cancellation and date of purchase.
We hope you will be very happy with the item(s) you have ordered. If this is not the case, we will offer you an exchange or refund provided you contact us within 7 working days of receipt of goods. If you do cancel your purchase after delivery, you must return the unwanted item(s) to us in the condition you received them, with all labels and packaging still attached, and at your own expense. Please return the unwanted item(s) to us at: Dark Peak Books & Gifts, 96 High Street West, Glossop, Derbyshire, SK13 8BB. On receipt of the returned goods, the refund will be made to the debit/credit card used to make the purchase. When returning an item, we suggest you retain a certificate of posting for your own records, in the event of the product failing to reach us.
Delivery
We deliver to UK destinations only Our standard delivery charges covering postage and packaging are £3.50 flat rate for books, £1.75 for gift vouchers and book subscriptions or free p&p for orders over £50.
We will deliver the items ordered using Royal Mail to the person and postal address specified when ordering. These will be dispatched once payment has been received. We try to deliver all items within 3 to 5 working days (i.e. excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays). You will be advised of any delay, or if the item is not available.
