There has been an independent bookshop at 96 High Street West in Glossop for over 40 years. Mel has owned Dark Peak Books & Gifts since June 2021 and with the help of a brilliant team, Katrina and Cat, we offer a carefully selected range of books, gifts and greetings to suit all tastes.
We can give you expert advice on books and can order almost any title in for you. We offer a friendly, welcoming environment to browse and we have a wide range of hand-picked gifts, games and greetings cards.
We run a monthly book club at a local bar, and we hold regular events for adults and children including book readings and author signings.
